The Hamm Family Ministries spans many generations. Dr. Ron Hamm is the son of a minister, Rev. Leonard Hamm, and his grandparents were ministers before him. The Hamm Family Ministries stand on the shoulders of great examples of those who gave sacrificially to minister to the lost and hurting of this world. The generations of experience and wisdom has been passed down and is an intrinsic part of the total ministry of this family.

Dr. Ron Hamm began ministry at the age of 10. He was a child prodigy musician and began his work in evangelism and missions. Dr. Hamm traveled in the summer months with Rev. Harrison E. Price, Evangelist and Missionary for the Church of God of Prophecy. Rev. Price was known around the world and became a mentor to Dr. Hamm.

Dr. Hamm spent the summer months from April to September traveling in evangelism and missions. By the age of 13, he had traveled to all the of the US and in 14 foreign countries. During that period of time, Dr. Hamm assisted in the organization of more than 30 churches around the world and at home. His father and mother accepted that God’s calling was upon their son and made an amazing sacrifice to have him travel for months at a time without contact.

The Nashville Tennessee native organized his first musical group, The Teen Age Quartet with Mylon Lefevre at age 14. This group sang regularly at the Ryman Auditorium and in churches and concerts throughout the southeast. He eventually became the lead guitarist for the Imperials of Gospel Music fame. Dr. Hamm accepted his call to the preaching ministry at age 16. His love for soul winning has taken him to the majority of the world. He and his wife Diane, organized the World Challenge Singers crusade team and finally the Hamm Family Ministries.

Drs. Ron and Diane met at a church camp and five years later were married shortly after High School graduation. This marriage has produced many decades of service in ministry.

It also produced two sons who are great men of talent and success in their own right. Regie Hamm is an award winning song writer, author, artist, producer. Leny Hamm is talented in music as a bassist and is a successful videographer, artist director, and script writer, He is an active member of the USAF (Tenn. Air National Guard) and is a proud veteran of Afghanistan.

The Hamm Family Ministries have served in Pastoral Ministry, Evangelism, Music. Missions, and Dr. Ron Hamm has served as the presiding bishop for South Dakota, Texas and Louisiana for the Church of God of Prophecy.
